I simply cannot put into words how amazing last night was. A has been waiting to see No Doubt since they last went on tour, which was five years ago. We were unsure if we would ever see them because they went on hiatus after their last tour . The return of No Doubt was in question, that is, until two years ago when they performed together during Gwen Stefani’s The Sweet Escape tour (yes, A and I were there) and announced that they would be back. Finally, yesterday night, we saw No Doubt in concert. It was fun. It was nostalgic. It was unbelievable. And they are from Orange County!

We were so lucky to see Paramore as well. (I have a mental list of all the bands I want to see and they were one of them. I am so glad Paramore opened for ND.) Like I tweeted, Paramore live sounds exactly like their CD, only better. Hayley Williams is energetic and sings very well. She told the crowd to remember three things. Paramore. Brand New Eyes. September 29 (Happy Birthday, Josh Farro).

Opening up first was The Sounds. This was another one of the night’s female-fronted bands. Before yesterday night, I barely knew about The Sounds. However, after last night, I definitely will be listening to them. They sounded great live and I liked their music.
Sadly, I do not have their set list as I was unfamiliar with their songs. My apologies.
